While planning equipment around ARC Raiders BluePrints, think of the Grappling Hook as a way to break an opponent's sightline, not simply travel faster. Frozen Trail arrives on October 8, 2026, bringing the hook alongside new equipment that expands movement options. Embark's preview confirms climbing, descending buildings, and swinging across large gaps. The tactics below are suggestions based on those announced capabilities, rather than tested release-day techniques. The goal is not invisible movement: it is reaching useful cover before another Raider can adjust.

Cross the Gap, Not the Enemy's View

Before committing to a crossing, identify where you intend to land. A sheltered destination is worth more than a dramatic shortcut. Consider a fight between buildings: crossing toward a recessed wall could offer a better angle than arriving on an exposed rooftop.

Start from cover whenever possible, and choose a path with the least visible travel. If your route passes directly across the opponent's view, reconsider it. Speed alone should not be your reason to leave protection.

A useful timing opportunity might arise when a teammate draws attention elsewhere. Coordinate the crossing, reach cover, and reassess before firing. Avoid assuming that a successful arrival means the destination is clear.

Escape the Vertical Trap Without Taking the Skyline

When a Raider holds the stairs above you, think about whether an exterior route could bypass that watched approach. The announced climbing capability makes alternative elevation changes worth exploring once Frozen Trail launches. For example, if you are pinned below a rooftop, look for a sheltered upper position rather than climbing straight toward the shooter. A side ledge could let you disengage or approach from another direction, provided the terrain supports the attachment and landing.

Changing elevation does not always mean going higher. Since the preview also describes descending buildings, consider dropping toward protected ground when an upper position becomes unsafe. Do not trade one trapped position for another with no exit.

Keep Your Next Move Hard to Read

Avoid repeating the same crossing after every exchange. Once an opponent has seen your chosen destination, treat that route as compromised. Try a different approach, delay the move, or remain behind cover.

Unexpected cover should still be practical cover. Before launching, ask whether the landing offers protection, room to reposition, and a way out. An unusual perch is not automatically a strong fighting position.

Stay grounded when a protected corridor already leads away from danger. Likewise, avoid grappling merely to gain height while another squad may be watching. Keeping solid cover between you and uncertain threats is often the more sensible choice.

Whether researching equipment or comparing cheap ARC Raiders BluePrints, prioritize decisions over spectacle: choose covered destinations, vary your routes, and keep the hook unused when walking offers the safer escape.
