Tips for writing a fast wedding toast under pressure?

I've been asked to give a speech at my brother’s wedding next week, but public speaking isn’t my strong suit. Between work and prep, I barely have time. I’m considering whether to pay someone to write my speech or just use a template online. Has anyone hired a professional writer before? How was your experience?
