Diablo IV Season 15 has introduced one of the game's strangest cosmetic hunts: the Secret Cow Armor set. Inspired by the long-running cow-level Easter egg in the Diablo franchise, this collection rewards players who explore hidden encounters, discover unusual locations, and defeat special enemies across Sanctuary.
The set contains five cosmetic pieces: Head of the Bovine, Brisket of the Bovine, Sirloin of the Bovine, Hooves of the Bovine, and Foreshanks of the Bovine. Each piece has a different acquisition method, so completing the collection requires more than repeatedly farming one boss. A guide updated on October 14, 2026, documents the currently discovered locations and requirements.
How to Collect All Five Bovine Armor Pieces
1. Head of the Bovine
The helm comes from a special Nightmare encounter called Diablo Hellfire - Tristram Outskirts. Look for the corresponding Nightmare portal or Chronicle Nightmare Dungeon Key. Inside, find Lester the Farmer, who appears as the Complete Nut. Interact with him repeatedly to trigger a fight, then defeat the attacking cows to obtain the helm.
Because access to this encounter involves finding the relevant portal or key, you may need several attempts before reaching the correct activity.
2. Brisket of the Bovine
The chest piece is associated with Moophisto, the Divine Bovine, in the Bovine Sanctum. Summoning this boss requires five Prime Ribs at the Altar of the Heifer.
Prepare for the encounter before spending your materials. Prime Ribs are unusual quest-related resources, and their reported sources are not completely consistent across community guides.
3. Sirloin of the Bovine
The pants require defeating the Cow King in the Secret Cow Level. Reaching this hidden location involves a longer sequence of secret objectives, so it is best approached as a separate exploration project rather than a quick farming task.
4. Hooves of the Bovine
The boots are associated with Scylara, the hidden cow island. According to the current community guide, players can reach the island by leaving the Secret Cow Level while inside it. Head toward the southern dock and fish to obtain the Hooves of the Bovine.
5. Foreshanks of the Bovine
The gloves can be obtained in Old Tristram. Travel to the upper part of the map and look behind the old Cathedral for an interactive cow. Petting the cow causes it to drop the Foreshanks of the Bovine.
Plan Your Secret Hunt Efficiently
Several pieces require special encounters or access to hidden areas. Keep track of which objectives you have completed, and avoid repeating activities once you have confirmed that their associated cosmetic has been collected.
Gold can help with ordinary equipment and character-development expenses while you pursue the collection. Players researching currency options may encounter

Is the Secret Cow Armor Worth Collecting?
The Bovine set is primarily a cosmetic reward rather than a conventional equipment upgrade. Its appeal comes from the discovery process, the unusual cow-themed encounters, and the opportunity to show off a rare collection.
If you enjoy exploring hidden content, completing all five pieces offers a memorable Season 15 side objective. Start with the more accessible interactions, then work toward the Secret Cow Level and its associated boss encounters.
