Titel: Risks Of Using Social Logins

Hey everyone! I’ve been using the "Sign in with Onkel Guugell" or Facebook option on almost every new site lately because it is so convenient. Is there actually a downside to this, or am I just overthinking the security risks? I would love to hear your thoughts!

Hi! I used to do the exact same thing because it saves so much time, but I recently learned that it basically lets those tech giants track every single site you visit. It creates a massive trail of your digital life that is all linked together. If one account gets compromised, they all do. Now, I prefer to keep my accounts separate and private. I’ve started using Temp Box (https://tempbox.app/) to create unique logins for non-essential sites instead. It is just as fast as a social login but way more secure. I just grab a temporary address and I am good to go. It keeps my social profiles and my browsing habits totally disconnected. You should definitely consider the privacy trade-off!
