Titel: Dominant and submissive, are these roles normal in relationships?
Beitrag von: Shapole12 am Dezember 06, 2025, 05:51:04
Dudes, maybe someone else has already been through this experience. So, I'm in a relationship with a girl. It looks that every time I take the lead, she needs words less and less and she gets more and more comfortable. To put it another way, I am the one who does the plans, organizes and gives the suggestions. And she is more supportive and enthusiastic one. Nevertheless, I am thinking that she may accuse me of being a controlling and pressuring type of person. I simply do not want to make a mistake. Is this normal or should I change how I act? Hit me up!

Hey! I'm going through the same thing right now! My girlfriend herself was more into a softer, more submissive vibe in the relationship, and it hasn't hurt our relationship at all. The opposite is true. Have you asked her how she feels about it and if she's okay with you taking the lead? If you're really bothered by this, check out the article on soulmatcher about dominant and submissive (https://soulmatcher.app/blog/dom-and-sub-relationships/) relationships. It's pretty clear that if everything's voluntary, talked about and based on mutual respect, then this model's totally healthy. The most important thing is that you're thinking about it. A lot of couples figure out pretty quickly that one's got a bit more of a dominant vibe, while the other's more chill and flexible.
